We typically have directed studies positions for a few undergraduate researchers interested in nanoparticle synthesis and spectroscopy. Depending on your interests, you could learn to make plasmonic nanomaterials, photovoltaic devices, or help to take experiments on an ultrafast laser (no experience needed, just curiosity and excitement about trying research!). UROP opportunities are strongly encouraged! Please contact Professor Frontiera, and be prepared to provide a transcript (unofficial is fine) and 1-2 references. All openings for 2017 are currently filled, but feel free to get in touch about future opportunities.
Once you've been accepted to a UMn graduate program, please email or stop on by 233 Smith Hall. We're always looking for motivated graduate students!
We are currently looking for a postdoctoral researcher with a background in live cell imaging and interest in super-resolution Raman microscopy. Please provide a cover letter and CV, and be prepared to have three letters of recommendation sent directly.
